The Licking County Governmental Preservation Society is hosting this event to raise awareness and money for continued restoration of the Licking County Historic Jail.  Since being opened in 1889, this jail has been an architectural staple for Licking County.  Through the Licking County Governmental Preservation Society, it is our hopes and desire to bring the Historic Jail new life through historically accurate renovations.  Any events that we conduct, such as the 5k, directly benefit this effort so that the Historic Jail can continue to be the gem that this County and its constituents deserve.
